Instant Noodles Make Kids Gay

Step away from that Ramen or you will end up in bed with a member of the same sex! Well, that is according to the brilliant mind of the mayor of the Indonesian city of Tangerang. A lot of anti-LGBT propaganda has been flowing from this small Southeast Asian nation. From the threat of instant noodles to nuclear war, the LGBT community seems to be causing a lot of strife for this country, causing them to take up some outdated way of thinking about homosexuality. Let's look at the news out of Indonesian on today's Bear With Me.

New England, 1630: William and Katherine lead a devout Christian life, homesteading on the edge of an impassible wilderness, with five children. Is there is difference between "Gay Love" and "Straight Love"? I explore this strange thing called Love on today's Bear With Me.

Hail, Caesar! Featured Movie Review

In the early 1950s, Eddie Mannix is busy at work trying to solve all the problems of the actors and filmmakers at Capitol Pictures. His latest assignments involve a disgruntled director, a singing cowboy, a beautiful swimmer and a handsome dancer. As if all this wasn't enough, Mannix faces his biggest challenge when Baird Whitlock gets kidnapped while in costume for the swords-and-sandals epic "Hail, Caesar!" If the studio doesn't pay $100,000, it's the end of the line for the movie star. Maybe this movie should have been named FAIL, Caesar!

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies Review

One can only reflect upon a single thought when leaving Pride and Prejudice and Zombies; "what would Miss. Manners do if there was a zombie invasion".  This is Seth Grahame-Smith and Jane Austen's classic tale set in 19th century England, about the tangled relationship between lovers who must face an army of undead zombies. A whiplash of genres, this film flips between horror, romance and comedy like a rollercoast without anyone manning the controls and I needed a Dramamine after viewing. Here are my thoughts on Pride and Prejudice and Zombies.
