Matthew Shepard: 17 Years Later

It is hard to believe that it has been 17 years since the night Matthew Shepard was beaten and left for dead in a field near Laramie, Wyoming. Matthew was only 21 when he died in 1998. I remember those events so clearly. Learning about this young Gay man that was just having a good time at a local Gay bar and then attacked. So much has come out of this horrible event that has impacted the course of the LGBT Community. Let's look back and remember a Gay man that changed our world in so many ways.
