Oh my!
We are finally getting an official LGBT character on the deck of the USS Enterprise and it's Sulu! LGBT Geeks and Nerds are firing their photon torpedo in celebration. Although, someone very important isn't celebrating the news of this coming out. George Takei, who originated the role of Hikaru Sulu, stated that it is “really unfortunate” which has shocked a lot of LGBT Science Fiction Fans.
