Carol: Review (Movie 49 of 2016 Countdown)

Carol (Cate Blanchett) is a mother, a wife and living a lie. While shopping for a Christmas present for her daughter, she meets Therese Belivet (Rooney Mara) and so begins a love affair that rocks both women's lives to the core. Based on the 1952 novel, The Price of Salt, Carol takes us into the world of the early 1950's closets of hidden sexuality. Find out my thoughts on this film on today's Bear With Me.
